This presentation aims to show the attendees that Scrum is not only the ideal process to achieve high productivity-levels in a complex organization. It shows that Team Foundation Server is powerful enough to become CMMI Level 3 compliant, without Scrum-compromise. It is also aimed at people who like Scrum and wonder what the added value of Team Foundation Server could be for their team. Additionally, the presenters believe that the combination of Scrum and TFS can fulfill all the possible reporting needs for management. It should make management buy-in easier, besides teaching them the “Toyota way”.
The project which served as the base for this presentation was done by a distributed Scrum-team which was divided between Belgium and Egypt.

Sven Hubert ist seit 3 Jahren für die AIT AG in Stuttgart als Berater tätig. Zu seinen Schwerpunkten gehören Softwareentwicklung auf Basis des .NET Framework sowie das Thema Application-Lifecylce-Management. Er berät Unternehmen bei der Einführung und Anpassung des Visual Studio Team System.

Ive Verstappen ist Geschäftsführer der im Mai 2000 gegründeten BIT IT Consultancy mit Sitz in Wes-terlo, Belgien. Neben seinen organisatorischen Aufgaben ist er als Architekt und Projektleiter tätig. Er leitet die Anstrengungen der BIT IT für die angestrebte CMMI-Zertifizierung.
