Abstract: Features effectively become useful when they arrive at a customer. Like in traditional manufacturing, reducing the time it takes for a given peace of functionality to cycle from the check-in through the developer, to production, where the customer is actually being able to take advantage of it, is a key factor to success of every software development project or web site. This session shows how to make continuous deployment a reality with simple steps like automated builds, continuous integration, and virtual test environments, using the Visual Studio 2010 product line.
